Abingdon, MD (April 6, 2023) – Authorities confirmed that 22-year-old Rajwinder Singh of New York lost his life in a crash on Wednesday evening, April 5.

Abingdon, MD – Rajwinder Singh Loses Life in Pedestrian Crash on I-95At around 6:00 p.m., Singh was driving a Volvo tractor-trailer on Interstate 95 when it became disabled on the shoulder of the road. The vehicle was stopped with its hazard lights running. The driver of the truck, identified as Singh, was outside of his vehicle.

For unknown reasons, a 2017 Toyota Camry traveled outside of its lane and onto the shoulder, where it struck Singh.

Singh was severely hurt as a result of the accident. He was pronounced deceased from his injuries. None of the three people in the Toyota were injured.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
