Abingdon, VA – Pedestrian Injured in Car Crash on Morningside Dr

Abingdon, VA (July 10, 2023) – A pedestrian was left with injuries as a result of a car crash that occurred on Sunday in Abingdon.

At around 10:15 a.m. on July 9, an elderly woman was struck by a vehicle that was backing up on Morningside Drive. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to provide assistance.

Medics cared for the injured woman before transporting her to a local hospital for emergency care.

The crash is currently being investigated.
