Abington, VA – Bicyclist Hurt in Crash on Creeper Train near Watauga Rd

Abington, VA (July 14, 2023) – A bicyclist was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries following an accident that took place in Washington County.

Police reports indicate that at approximately 720 p.m. on July 12, the Virginia state police and firefighters were called to the scene of a crash that occurred on Creeper Trail.

Reports show that a man in his 20s was riding a bicycle near trestle 29 on Creeper Trail when he was involved in an accident.

The bicyclist was injured as a result of the crash. The victim was transported to an area hospital for emergency medical care.

The incident is currently being investigated.
