Adelphi, MD (March 29, 2023) – A pedestrian has died as a result of a car crash that took place in Adelphi on Sunday morning, March 26.
The accident was reported at approximately 2:35 a.m.
Reports provided by the Maryland State Police show that a Hispanic male was struck by a 2013 Toyota on the outer loop of Interstate 495, the Capital Beltway. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the pedestrian suffering from serious injuries in the area of route 650.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident due to the injuries that he suffered.
The police are currently investigating the accident.
