Albany, NY (March 31, 2023) – A car accident left at least one person injured on Thursday afternoon, March 30th.
According to the Albany Police Department, a collision involving multiple vehicles occurred on Interstate 90 at Exit 6 to U.S. Route 9 for undetermined reasons. Emergency responders were notified of the collision at about 4:55 p.m., and crews arrived at the scene in the westbound lanes of the interstate a short time later.
Paramedics provided the involved parties with necessary medical aid before transferring those in need of further care to local medical facilities. Authorities have not provided any updates on the conditions of the injured patients.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. Updates will be provided once they are made available to the public.
