Albuquerque, NM (February 3, 2023) – On Thursday evening, February 2nd, authorities with the Albuquerque Police Department were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident with injuries. The collision was reported at around 6:28 p.m. at the intersection of California Street and Kathryn Avenue.
According to reports provided by the APD, multiple vehicles entered the intersection, where they became involved in a collision for reasons that have not been confirmed. First responders, including police, firefighters, and paramedics, responded to the incident to assist those involved.
Paramedics transported at least one injured party to a nearby medical center for treatment of sustained injuries. There is no information available on the condition of the patients who have been hospitalized.
The events that triggered the accident are currently being investigated by authorities with the APD. No further details are available.
