Albuquerque, NM (February 27, 2023) – Authorities with the Albuquerque Police Department responded to an injury crash in the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 (Pan American freeway). The crash, which involved two or more vehicles, was reported on Saturday morning, February 25th, at approximately 11:49 a.m.
APD officials say that the involved vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of the freeway moments after entering the area near Menaul Boulevard. Emergency responders were summoned to the scene where they immediately went to work clearing the wreckage and helping the occupants of the vehicles involved.
Emergency medical services were requested at the scene by responding police officers. Upon arrival, paramedics assisted those with injuries and transported all victims in need of further medical attention to nearby hospitals.
Police investigators with the APD are presently conducting an investigation to establish the cause of the collision. No further information has been provided.
