Albuquerque, NM (February 23, 2023) – Authorities say that injuries were confirmed following a hit-and-run collision in the city of Albuquerque. The incident was reported at the intersection of Cutler Avenue and Washington street on Wednesday, February 22nd.
According to reports, a gray pickup truck being operated by an unidentified driver collided with another vehicle after entering the junction. The driver of the vehicle that struck the pickup truck fled the scene immediately after the crash.
Either someone involved in the accident or a nearby witness called 911 and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene to provide assistance. After arriving in the area, the pickup truck driver reported possible head and neck injuries and was taken to a nearby Medical Center for treatment.
At this time there are no details available regarding the current condition of the injured victim or the driver of the other vehicle involved.
The incident currently remains under investigation.
