Albuquerque, NM (April 7, 2023) – A collision involving two or more vehicles and resulting in injuries was reported by authorities in the city of Albuquerque on Friday morning, April 7th. Law enforcement officials say that it occurred at approximately 10:50 a.m. for reasons that have not been confirmed.
Officials with the Albuquerque Police Department say that the involved vehicles collided at the intersection of Edith Boulevard and Avenida Cesar Chavez. Emergency responders were notified of the collision and immediately arrived to provide assistance and secure the scene.
The involved vehicles sustained major damage, and crews worked to clear the debris. Paramedics attended to those who were injured in the accident, and at least one person was hospitalized for additional treatment.
Authorities with the APD are investigating the cause of the crash at this time. Updates will be provided when they are made available.
