Albuquerque, NM (March 12, 2025) – A devastating collision between a motorcycle and a minivan claimed the lives of both drivers Monday night in Albuquerque.
According to authorities, the crash occurred around 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of 98th St and Rio Clara Ave SW. Investigators determined that the minivan had stopped at a stop sign on eastbound Rio Clara Ave before proceeding into the intersection. At that moment, a southbound motorcycle collided with the driver's side of the minivan.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and confirmed that both the motorcyclist and the driver of the minivan succumbed to their injuries. Their identities have not been released pending notification of their families.
