Albuquerque, NM (May 21, 2023) – A woman from Farmington lost her life in a car accident in Albuquerque on Sunday afternoon, May 21.
Police in New Mexico say the accident happened on I-40 in Albuquerque at around 2:00 p.m. A woman traveling west in a Toyota passenger sideswiped Flora Garcia, 64. Garcia was driving a 2008 Ford passenger vehicle at the time.
Garcia’s vehicle spun counterclockwise and was t-boned by a commercial vehicle, according to a local news source. The Toyota driver and the commercial vehicle driver sustained no injuries.
