Albuquerque, NM (January 28, 2023) – Shortly before 1:00 p.m., on January 27, emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a car accident in Albuquerque.
The incident happened on Interstate 25 near Montgomery Boulevard. An unspecified number of vehicles crashed, resulting in injuries for those involved.
Police worked at the crash scene in order to determine how the collision occurred while paramedics treated those with injuries. At least one individual was transported to the hospital for extensive care.
The roadway was blocked for some time causing significant delays in traffic. Local police asked drivers commuting in the area to use different travel routes for the time being.
