Albuquerque, NM (November 17, 2022) – One woman was tragically killed, and a man was reportedly injured following a motorcycle crash that took place in Northeast Albuquerque. The deadly accident happened on Wednesday night, November 16th, at around 9:15 p.m.

According to authorities, a man reportedly stole a motorcycle and fled the scene with a female passenger. After leaving the area of the theft, the motorcycle crashed after striking a speedbump in the 3300 block of Monroe Street, in the vicinity of Comanche Road.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene where they pronounced the female passenger of the motorcycle deceased. The operator of the bike was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
