Alleghany County, NC ( July 13, 2023) – A tragic motorcycle crash in Alleghany County resulted in the loss of two lives.
A couple from Raleigh was ejected from the vehicle during the incident.
It took place on July 12th, 2023.
The victims were identified as Travis Ryan Ferguson, 49, and Shelly Delynn Pittman, 47, who tragically succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The crash occurred around 5:55 p.m. on US 21 near Deer Haven Road when a 2000 Ford Explorer crossed the centerline, leading to a head-on collision with the 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The driver of the Ford, a 16-year-old, emerged without any injuries.
However, Mustin has been charged with two counts of misdemeanor death by vehicle and left of center.
