Alva, FL (September 19, 2023) – A devastating multi-vehicle collision occurred around 9 a.m. Monday on Palm Beach Boulevard near Owanita Road.

A 47-year-old woman from Eastlake, Ohio, died in the crash.

Three cars traveled east while a semitrailer moved west, per the Florida Highway Patrol.

After being rear-ended by another car, the victim’s vehicle crossed the median.

It then entered the westbound lanes directly in the semitrailer’s path.

The woman from Ohio tragically passed away at the scene.

The investigation is still ongoing.
