Amarillo, TX ( July 13, 2023) – An Amarillo police officer was injured Wednesday after being struck by a vehicle in Amarillo, according to the police.
The accident was reported around 7:20 a.m., on July 12th, 2023, on Southeast Third Avenue.
Police said the officer was hit by a vehicle while crossing the crosswalk.
The officer was taken to a local hospital with injuries.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
