Arkwright, NY (December 5, 2022) – According to New York State Troopers out of SP Fredonia, a female passenger lost her life in a collision that was reported at the intersection of New York State Route 83 and Center Road. The fatal crash happened in the town of Arkwright at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday night, December 3rd.
Reports show that a 2020 Chevrolet Trail Blazer collided with a 2018 Ford F-150 after failing to stop at a stop sign at the intersection. The impact of the collision caused one passenger in the Ford to be ejected from the vehicle. Emergency crews were called to the scene to assist those involved.
The ejected passenger, identified as 71-year-old Linda A. Kraemer, of South Dayton, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Ford, as well as the driver and two passengers in the Chevrolet, all suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Their present conditions have not been made available.
The crash remains under investigation.
