Arlington, VA (May 25, 2023) – The police confirmed that 71-year-old Susan Hamlin of Aptos, California, lost her life as a result of a pedestrian accident that took place in the Arlington area.
According to reports, on Monday evening, May 22, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash that took place on King Street.
Reports from authorities indicate that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle during the evening hours. The pedestrian, identified as Hamlin, suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Alvaro Alejandro Pacheco Ramos, was arrested by the police as a result of this accident. Ramos was suspected to be under the influence. He was charged with driving under the influence and involuntary manslaughter.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
