Aspen Hill, MD (January 1, 2023) – The Montgomery County Police Department and local firefighters were called to the site of a traffic crash that took place in the Aspen Hill area that ended in injuries. On December 31, calls for help were received regarding a traffic accident in the 14,100 block of Weeping Willow Drive at around 9:15 p.m.
According to authorities, an adult pedestrian and a child pedestrian were both walking in the area of Weeping Willow Drive and Whispering Pines Drive when they were struck by a vehicle.
Both victims suffered injuries as a result of the accident. EMS responded to the scene to care for the victims. Both victims were transported to local hospitals for further medical care.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
