Atlanta, GA (April 17, 2023) – On Monday, April 17, officers with the Atlanta Police Department responded to a crash involving two automobiles on Interstate 285 in DeKalb County.
According to preliminary reports from APD police, two traffic lanes were stopped, and at least two people were hurt.
The Georgia Department of Transportation reports that the accident happened on Monday afternoon on eastbound I-285 before Flat Shoals Road.
At about 5:10 p.m., local news footage showed two cars that had crashed in the middle of a roadway.
Although no serious injuries were reported, it appears that a few people were taken to the hospital by emergency services personnel.
Officers said the investigation is still ongoing, but the GDOT and APD have not released any new information.
