Atlanta, GA (March 15, 2023) – On Wednesday morning, March 15, a vehicle crashed into a Walmart near Thomasville, killing at least one person, according to the Thomasville Police Department.
When the Georgia State Patrol troopers arrived, they discovered a gray 2012 Toyota Camry that had smashed through the store’s door and exit.
Several persons were hurt in the collision, including one man who succumbed to his injuries at the site of the crash. After the accident, the suspect allegedly attempted to flee but was apprehended by witnesses.
The suspect is being treated for injuries and held at Archbold Memorial Hospital on charges of vehicular murder of the first degree, reckless driving, fleeing the scene of an accident, and driving without a license.
An investigation is continuing in the meantime.
