Atlanta, GA (March 27, 2023) – On Monday evening, March 27, traffic on I-285 eastbound was backed up near Flat Shoals Road from a vehicle crash, which ended in victim injuries and caused significant delays for motorists.

Atlanta, GA - Truck Accident with Injuries on I-285 at Flat Shoals RdAccording to a Georgia Department of Transportation notification, three of four lanes were restricted as crews cleared the scene. A semi-truck also appeared to be involved in the incident, which took place around 6:30 p.m.

EMTs were at the scene, along with officers from the Atlanta Police Department, and appeared to transport at least one person to a local medical center.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unknown in the interim, though the APD is still investigating at this time.
