Atlanta, GA – Victims Hurt in Auto Accident on I-20 Near Lithonia Industrial Blvd

Atlanta, GA (March 31, 2023) – On Monday morning, a multi-vehicle collision shut down both westbound lanes of I-20 in DeKalb County, resulting in a major delay and many reported injuries.

The collision happened near Lithonia Industrial Boulevard at about 6:00 a.m., according to police reports.

Several people were hurt, according to police and preliminary reports from the Georgia DOT, but the extent of their injuries is unclear.

Drivers were sent to the Covington Highway as an alternate route. Meanwhile, authorities are still trying to piece together what happened and are eager to hear from any potential witnesses.
