Austin, TX – Pedestrian Accident on I-35 near Grand Avenue Parkway Results in One Fatality

Austin, TX ( July 13, 2023) – In a tragic incident early Wednesday, a man was fatally struck by a vehicle in far-north Austin, as reported by troopers.

The accident occurred on Interstate 35 near Grand Avenue Parkway at approximately 3:40 a.m. on July 12th, 2023.
According to authorities, a Toyota Camry collided with a pedestrian walking on the highway.

Sadly, the impact of the crash resulted in the man’s death.

His identity has not yet been disclosed.
Following the accident, the driver involved in the collision remained at the scene, cooperating with law enforcement officials.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
