Aynor, SC (February 8, 2025) – Horry County Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire involving a recreational vehicle (RV) on Preston Jones Road in Aynor early Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 1:38 p.m. When emergency crews arrived on the scene, they found the RV fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters quickly worked to extinguish the blaze, but the fire extended to four nearby structures, causing additional damage before being brought under control.
One individual sustained injuries as a result of the fire and is being transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not yet been confirmed.
The Loris Fire Department and the Horry County Police Department assisted in managing the scene and ensuring the fire did not spread further. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire, and further details will be released as they become available.
