Baldwin County, AL (September 19, 2023) – A rear-end collision on I-65 near mile marker 29 claimed the life of Chase Sharp, 34, from Bay Minette, early Monday, September 18, 2023.
At 6:02 a.m., a 2015 Ford Explorer, driven by Sharp, slammed into a disabled Kenworth tractor-trailer partially on the road.
Sharp wasn’t wearing his seatbelt then and was declared dead at the scene.
Ronnie Jordan of Frisco City piloted the tractor-trailer during the incident.
The investigation is still ongoing.
