Baltimore, MD (October 19, 2024) – A tragic multi-vehicle collision occurred in downtown Baltimore, resulting in one fatality and two injuries. The incident took place at the intersection of Cathedral and Centre Streets, where a dump truck, reportedly drifting downhill, struck the operator of the truck as well as several other vehicles.
According to police reports, the dump truck, driven by 41-year-old Michael Bost, collided with four vehicles—two of which were unoccupied and two that were occupied—before crashing into a nearby building. Emergency responders arrived on the scene promptly, but unfortunately, Michael Bost was pronounced dead at the scene.
In addition to the fatality, a 27-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman sustained injuries as a result of the crash. They were transported to local hospitals for medical evaluation and treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed at this time.
