Baltimore, MD (April 8, 2023) – A fire incident took place in the Madison Eastend section of Baltimore that left sent two people to an area hospital for emergency treatment.
At around 1:53 a.m. on April 7, the Baltimore County Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire that took place on East Monument Street.
Reports show that a fire broke out on the second floor of a building located at 3024 E. Monument Street. Firefighters rushed to the scene of the incident and began battling the blaze.
One person was trapped inside the structure, prompting firefighters to work to locate the victim.
A woman was removed by firefighters and rushed to an area hospital for emergency medical care. A second victim was removed from the structure and rushed to an area hospital for further medical care.
The fire department is currently working to determine what caused the fire to take place.
