Batavia, NY – Truck Accident with Injuries Reported on I-90 near MM 388.3

Batavia, NY (July 7, 2023) – The police and firefighters in the town of Batavia responded to the scene of a truck accident that took place on Thursday and ended in injuries.

Just after 5:15 p.m. on July 6, a semi-truck tractor-trailer and two other vehicles collided on the eastbound side of Interstate 90 in the area near mile marker 388.3. The semi-truck tractor-trailer became wrapped around an SUV that was involved in the accident.

At least one person was trapped inside their vehicle. Firefighters responded to extricate the victims.

Emergency medical services responded to care for the injured victims. The injured parties were then transported to local hospitals.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
