Bellflower, CA (September 19, 2023) – A pedestrian tragically died on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, after an accident on the Artesia 91 Freeway.

Around 5:54 a.m., the crash occurred eastbound near the Clark Avenue ramp.

The HOV and lanes 1, 2, and 3 were blocked, leading to a SigAlert.

Despite efforts by the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the pedestrian didn’t survive.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will identify the victim post notifying the family.

The investigation is still ongoing.
