Bensalem Township, PA (September 18, 2023) – A tragic three-vehicle collision claimed the life of a Bensalem motorcyclist on Saturday, September 16, 2023, around 8:49 p.m.

Eric Tomko, 47, was the unfortunate motorcyclist who lost his life on Route 72 in Woodland Township, N.J., according to N.J. State Police.

While Tomko rode east on his Yamaha, a Chevrolet Silverado traveled west.

A Ford Escape followed it closely.

As the Chevrolet attempted a left onto Route 532, Tomko’s motorcycle struck its rear-passenger side.

The impact ejected him, causing both Tomko and his Yamaha to collide with the Ford’s front passenger side.

No other injuries were reported. The investigation is still ongoing.
