Berlin, MD (April 2, 2023) – The Maryland State Police responded to the scene of an automobile accident in the Berlin area that ended in injuries.
At around 8:26 p.m. on April 1, emergency officials were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash that occurred on Route 50.
Reports show that vehicles collided on the roadway, prompting officials to shut down a portion of Route 50 near Route 589.
EMS responded to the scene of the crash to provide care to the injured victims. One person suffered injuries to the head and had to be transported to a local hospital.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
