Bethesda, MD (January 26, 2023) – A traffic accident was reported in Bethesda on Tuesday evening that left a bicyclist injured. On January 24, officers with the Montgomery County Police Department responded to a traffic crash on River Road.
According to authorities, a crash involving a bicyclist and a second vehicle took place on River Road in the area of Goldsboro Road at approximately 7:45 p.m.
Authorities responded to the scene with the assistance of firefighters and immediately secured the area.
Paramedics were called to care for the injured victim at the scene. The bicyclist was then transported to a local hospital, where they underwent further care for the injuries they suffered.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
