Bexar County, TX ( July 10, 2023) –  A patrol officer from Von Ormy is in the hospital after being rescued from her vehicle following a rollover crash involving multiple vehicles.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office reported the incident.

The crash took place at the I-35 South and Loop 1604 intersection under the overpass at around 12:35 p.m. on Saturday, July 8th, 2023.

The patrol officer was responding to a motorcycle accident when her vehicle was involved in the crash.

Emergency responders extracted the officer from her vehicle and quickly took her to the hospital for treatment.

Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office stated that the officer remained conscious and responsive during the transport.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
