Bingham County, ID (September 18, 2023) – A two-vehicle collision early Monday, September 18, 2023, on southbound I-15 near milepost 99 resulted in one death.
Around 12:25 A.M, a vehicle with three juveniles veered off the northbound I-15 lanes and rolled over into the southbound lanes.
A 2022 Ram Promaster, operated by a 65-year-old Idaho Falls man, collided with the overturned vehicle.
Two juveniles were rushed to the hospital, while one died at the scene. None had their seatbelts on.
The Promaster’s driver, who had his seatbelt on, also went to the hospital.
Part of the southbound I-15 remained closed for over three hours.
The investigation is still ongoing.
