Bliss, NY – One Injured in Fiery Two-Vehicle Crash on Route 78 near Popular Tree Rd

Bliss, NY (July 8, 2023) – One person was left injured as a result of a fiery accident that occurred in Bliss.

Just before 1:40 p.m. on July 7, the New York State police and firefighters from Bliss responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place on Route 78. According to official reports, two vehicles collided in the 3600 block of the roadway near Poplar Tree Road. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to catch on fire.

Medics responded to the scene of the accident to care for the injured victim. The victim was then transported by Bliss Ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
