Bradford County, FL (September 19, 2023) – A tragic accident occurred on U.S. 301 near NE 193rd Street around 8 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2023.
A 41-year-old woman from Clearwater, walking in the right lane, was struck by a northbound van.
Due to nighttime conditions, the van’s driver couldn’t spot her in time.
Sadly, she died on the scene.
The 44-year-old driver from Jacksonville was uninjured and had his seat belt on.
The investigation is still ongoing.
