Brevard County, FL (July 24, 2023)- A bicyclist was killed in a tragic accident late on Sunday, July 23, 2023, in Brevard County.
The accident happened on State Road 50, near Plantation Drive, around 11:59 p.m.
The FHP reports that a 33-year-old man from Arizona was riding a bicycle without lights in the inside westbound lane of State Road 50.
A Nissan Rogue was also on the road at the same time.
Unfortunately, the bicyclist was killed instantly when the Nissan struck him.
According to the crash report, the driver and two passengers, all from Orlando, were unharmed.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the collision to learn more about what led to it.
