Bristol, VA (May 13, 2023) – Two people were left injured as a result of a car crash that took place in the Bristol area. The crash was reported just before 3:00 p.m. on May 10.
According to officials, a Nissan was traveling on old Airport Road when he became involved in a collision. The incident prompted the Virginia state police to shut down a portion of the roadway near the off-ramps for Interstate 81 southbound.
Medics were called to the scene of the crash to care for victims who suffered injuries. Two people were transported to Bristol Regional Medical Center for emergency care.
Investigations are currently underway by the Virginia State Police Wytheville Division Crash Reconstruction Team.
