Bronx, NY (March 18, 2023) – At least one person was hurt in a crash that happened in the Bronx on Saturday evening, March 18.
At approximately 8:00 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of an accident between vehicles on the Deegan Expressway.
According to information from local reports, the crash occurred on the Deegan Expressway near Van Cortlandt Park South. Vehicles collided near exit 11, stopping traffic back to Mosholu Parkway.
People who suffered injuries in the crash were treated by EMTs on-site and taken to local hospitals if needed.
Police investigated the details of the collision while wreckers worked to clear the debris from the road.
Investigations into the details of the accident are currently underway.
