Bronx, NY (March 27, 2023) – An unidentified pedestrian sustained injuries after being struck by a motor vehicle in the Pelham Bay neighborhood of the Bronx. The collision was reported to police at about 9:02 a.m. on Monday morning, March 27th.
According to law enforcement officials, a passenger vehicle entered the intersection of Roberts and Crosby Avenues, where it hit a person who was traveling on foot. The pedestrian was thrown into the roadway from the impact of the crash, and emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to provide assistance.
Crews arrived in the area and located the victim, who suffered undetermined injuries. EMTs provided necessary medical assistance and transported the wounded pedestrian to a nearby hospital for additional care.
There are no details available regarding the extent of the victim’s injuries at this time. Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
