Bronx, NY – Child Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Westchester Ave

Bronx, NY (July 7, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Westchester Heights section of the Bronx sent one pedestrian to a local hospital with injuries.

At around 7:50 p.m. on July 6, calls for help came in regarding a crash and West Chester Avenue.

Reports show that a child pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 2500 block of the roadway.

Medics responded to the scene to care for the victim and transport them to a local hospital.

At this time, the incident is being investigated by the New York Police Department.

We hope the child is able to recover quickly following this accident.
