Bronx, NY (April 8, 2023) – A 64-year-old man identified as Hua Pan was killed by a hit-and-run driver on the night of April 6 in the Bronx. Information from authorities shows the incident occurred at around 11:22 p.m. for reasons still under investigation.
According to reports, the crash happened when Pan was riding his bike through the intersection of Pierce Avenue and Williamsbridge Road. The driver of an unidentified vehicle struck him without stopping to render aid.
Authorities stated Pan had the green light at the time of the accident. He was taken to Jacobi Hopsital with severe head trauma where he later lost his life.
Police in the Bronx continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
