Bronx, NY – One Hurt in Construction Site Accident on Brush Ave

Bronx, NY (July 17, 2023) – At around 8:20 a.m. on July 15, the New York Police Department and New York fire department crews responded to the scene of a construction site accident that took place in the Throngs Neck neighborhood and ended in injuries.

According to official reports, a worker suffered injuries after being struck by a heavy beam at a construction site at 998 Brush Avenue. The firefighters and police responded to the scene and secured the site of the incident.

Emergency medical services responded to care for the victim. The injured worker was then transported to a local hospital and underwent emergency medical care.

The accident is currently being investigated.
