Bronx, NY (February 13, 2023) – Early on Monday morning, February 13th, authorities were called to the scene of an auto-pedestrian collision with injuries. The accident happened in the Concourse neighborhood of the Bronx at approximately 1:21 a.m.
An unidentified pedestrian was reportedly walking in the area of East 158th Street and Gerard Avenue when a motor vehicle approached the junction. The vehicle subsequently struck the person who was traveling by foot, knocking them into the roadway.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the incident, where paramedics worked to help the wounded pedestrian. The victim was taken to a local Medical Center to undergo further evaluation and medical care as needed. At this time, there have been no updates regarding the condition of the patient.
Police investigators are working to establish the cause of the collision.
