Bronx, NY (March 27, 2023) – At approximately 8:11 a.m. on Monday morning, March 27th, authorities were notified of an auto-pedestrian accident in the Concourse neighborhood of the Bronx.
Law enforcement officials say that an unidentified person was walking in the area of 265 East 161st Street when they were hit by an unspecified type of car. A call regarding the crash was reported by 911 dispatchers, who immediately sent crews to the scene.
At this time, the nature of the victim’s injuries has not been confirmed in reports. The events that led to the collision are being investigated.
Authorities have not provided the name of the victim nor any additional details regarding the driver of the vehicle involved.
