Bronx, NY – Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on E 233rd St near Byron Ave

Bronx, NY (July 8, 2023) – A pedestrian accident was reported in the Wakefield section of the Bronx.

At around 2:15 a.m. on July 8, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on East 233rd Street in the area near Byron Avenue.

Emergency officials responded to the scene of the crash to care for the injured victim. The pedestrian was then transported to a local hospital for emergency care.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
