Bronx, NY (May 14, 2023) – Two people sustained injuries in a fire that occurred in the Bronx. The blaze was reported to officials in the area on Sunday afternoon, May 14.
A home on Seton Avenue was significantly damaged by the flames that started on the first floor of the building and traveled up to the second floor. The fire also damaged two homes next door.
A 43-year-old female was home at the time of the fire. She was transported to the hospital with injuries. Reports show the fire started just before 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
The Department of Buildings and the fire marshal were at the site investigating, according to information from local reports. A cause was not immediately reported, however.
Authorities in the Bronx continue their investigations into the circumstances of the fire.
