Bronx, NY (March 28, 2023) – Authorities say that an automobile crash with injuries was reported in the Van Cortlandt Park area of the Bronx. It happened at approximately 6:32 a.m. on Tuesday morning, March 28th.
According to authorities, the vehicles involved collided on the Major Deegan Expressway at or near Van Cortlandt Park South for undetermined reasons. The collision caused serious damage to at least one of the involved vehicles, and emergency crews were quickly notified of the incident.
First responders arrived in the area to secure the scene while EMTs attended to the occupants of the vehicles. At least one party was taken to a nearby medical center for treatment of injuries.
At this time, there is no word on the nature of the injuries sustained in the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
