According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), portable electric heaters are estimated to be responsible for approximately 1,100 fires annually. Furthermore, of all fires caused by heating equipment, the majority of all which resulted in death involved a space heater. It is important to understand that if you have suffered due to a negligent person or entity, you have serious rights moving forward.
